The conventional wisdom that vodka just adds alcohol to drinks is only half the story. As it combines with mixers and juices, vodka binds to them and delivers these flavors to your palate as it evaporates on your tongue. Wheat vodkas evaporate faster then any other type of spirit and as a result deliver fuller, richer tasting cocktails.

Sprig
2 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka

Tarragon sprigs

1 oz simple syrup

Squeeze of fresh lemon
>  shake and strain into martini glass

Lavender Lemon Drop
2 oz TRU Organic Lemon vodka

1 oz fresh lemon juice

Lavender sprig

1 tbsp sugar
>  shake and strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass, garnish with lavender sprig

Basil Berry
2 oz TRU Organic Vanilla vodka

2 tbsp spring berries

2 basil leaves

Squeeze of fresh lime

1 tbsp sugar

>  muddle, shake and pour out into rocks glass, top with soda and stir

Bramble
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka

3 blackberries

1/2 oz simple syrup

Squeeze of fresh lemon
>  shake and strain into martini glass

Green Day

2 oz TRU Organic Lemon vodka
2 honeydew melon wedges

2 slices of cucumber

1 oz simple syrup

Squeeze of fresh lime

Basil leaf

>  muddle all, shake and pour out into rocks glass, top with tonic

Peachy

3 oz TRU Organic Vanilla vodka

1/4 ripe peach

1tsp sugar

Squeeze of fresh lime

Sprig of mint

>  muddle all, shake and pour out into rocks glass, garnish with fresh peach slice (optional – top with soda)

Savory
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
1/2 oz olive juice
2 sprigs of savory
>  shake and strain into martini glass, garnish with a savory sprig

Orchard
2 oz TRU Organic Lemon vodka
1 oz fresh apple juice
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
2 sage leaves
>  shake all and strain into a martini glass, float half apple ring and sage leaf

Pear Fizz
2 oz TRU Organic Vanilla vodka
1/2 ripe pear
1 tbsp honey
Squeeze of fresh lemon
Thyme sprig
>  muddle all, shake and strain into a flute, top with Prosecco and garnish with a pear slice

Honey Drop
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
Squeeze of fresh grapefruit
>  shake/strain into martini glass, garnish with swirl of honey

Moro
3 oz TRU Organic Lemon vodka
1/2 medium blood orange
2/3 oz simple syrup
2 rosemary sprigs
Squeeze of fresh lemon
>  muddle all, shake and strain into a martini glass, garnish with a rosemary sprig

Tangerine Dream
2 oz TRU Organic Vanilla vodka
1/2 tangerine
1 tbsp maple syrup
Squeeze of fresh lime
Thyme sprig
>  muddle all, shake and pour out into rocks glass, top with soda

The New Bond
4 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
1/2 oz vermouth
>  shake until icy (don't stir), pour into a martini glass and garnish with lemon peel

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
1 teaspoon olive brine
1 teaspoon onion brine
>  shake hard until icy, pour in martini glass, garnish with olive and pickled onion
 

Smokey
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
Splash of whiskey
>  stir with ice, strain into martini glass; garnish with haggis…or lemon peel

Old School
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka (icy)
Dry Vermouth
>  swirl dry vermouth in bottom of chilled martini glass; pour vodka, garnish with pimento-stuffed olives
 

Churchill

A closed bottle of vermouth
>  pour TRU into chilled martini glass, garnish with lemon peel or olive, look at bottle of vermouth

Gibson
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
1 oz dry vermouth
>  pour into a martini glass, garnish with pickled onion
 

Italian Job
3 oz TRU Organic Straight vodka
Balsamic vinegar
Olive oil
>  spray chilled martini glass with balsamic vinegar, shake vodka until cold, pour into martini glass, garnish with swirl of olive oil

 

Grilled Peachy

3 oz TRU Organic Vanilla vodka

1/4 ripe peach, grilled

1tsp brown sugar

Squeeze of fresh lime

Sprig of mint

>  muddle all to release flavor and juice, shake and pour out into rocks glass, garnish with fresh peach slice (optional – top with soda)

BBQ Chef Martini

3 oz TRU Organic Straight Vodka
4 ripe cherry tomatoes, grilled
Two slices grilled, crispy bacon
> grill tomatoes, season with lemon juice, salt, pepper and parsley; set aside till juices accumulate

> skewer 2-3 of these grilled cherry tomatoes on a toothpick, alternate with a piece of very crispy bacon; set aside

> smash remaining tomatoes lightly to release more juices; drain through sieve and reserve liquid.

> shake with ice, strain into martini glass  and garnish with tomato and bacon skewer

Grilled Vodka Lemonade

3 oz TRU Organic Lemon Vodka

1 lemon sliced into rings and grilled with honey
1 oz freshly squeezed lemon
1 tbsp sugar
> shake hard (keep a grilled lemon slice grilled for garnish), pour into sugar-rimmed martini glass, garnish with grilled lemon ring
